Pruning for Prevention and Management of Grapevine Canker Diseases (Grower)

Our featured speaker will be Kendra Baumgartner, USDA-ARS Research Plant Pathologist, who will describe the biology of canker diseases and demonstrate both how to prevent vines from becoming infected and pruning to deal with existing infections. Industry viticulturists and the Vineyard Team will discuss the economics of various canker disease management practices. Tools and technologies to prevent canker diseases will be demonstrated via pruning and dormant spraying equipment in the field.
