The Vineyard Team, PG&E, Pan American Insurance and Helena Chemical Company are hosting a series of tailgates in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara Counties on tractor, ATV, Electric & Natural Gas, Heat Stress, and Pesticide Applicator safety. Attendees are welcome to register for morning and/or afternoon sessions.

Tractor/ATV Safety Training | Classroom & Field Demonstration | Sponsored by Pan American Insurance
Tractor and ATV safety training is important for anyone using this equipment. Safety training will review personal safety equipment, equipment and controls, pre-use inspection, operation, and maintenance.
Electric & Gas Safety while Working in Agriculture | Sponsored by PG&E
PG&E will be presenting an agriculture specific safety talk and demonstration about working safely around their underground and overhead electric and gas lines. The talk and demo will include how to mitigate risks and increase your awareness of the potential hazards. Safety by Choice, not by Chance!

Safety training will review Heat Stress symptoms, access to shade and water, recovery periods and medical attention. Attendees will receive a signed documentation for attending this training.
Pesticide Applicator | Sponsored by Helena Chemical Company
Pesticide Applicator training should be attended by anyone who, in the course of their job, mixes, loads or applies pesticides. Safety training will cover review of personal safety equipment, understanding pesticide labeling, worker protection, proper handling and disposal of pesticides and emergency response procedures. Some New York City restaurants make their living by being the "perfect restaurant for your NYC proposal ." Steer clear of those restaurants by doing a little extra reconaissance. If your heart is set on proposing at a restaurant, put more research into it than just googling and picking from the top one or two results.
