Getting Ready: Pest Scouting and Pre-Season Irrigation Maintenance(Grower)

Now is the time to ensure that irrigation systems are ready for the coming season. It is also a good time to prepare or improve pest monitoring protocols. Kevin Peterson will discuss preparing and maintaining your irrigation system after the winter, so it is in optimal shape when the time comes to start irrigating. Craig Macmillan will demonstrate how a grower can develop a simple pest scouting protocol and pest data analysis method specific to their needs. Heather Scheck from the Santa Barbara County Commissioner's Office will describe their pest monitoring methods and how they use that information. **Concurrent in Spanish**
