The Monterey County Winery Water and Energy Workshop, co-sponsored by California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance and PG&E, and in conjuction with MCVGA, CCVT, and CAWG, will cover several topics including:
- A comprehensive guide to best practices for sustainable management of winery water, wastewater, and energy resources
- Impact of water management on energy demand
- Winery self-assessment process for water management
- Update on PG&E programs including: free winery energy audits, equipment rebates, technical support services, and new resources.
This workshop is designed for winery Facility Managers and Operations Managers although other employees are welcome to attend.
The energy workshops augment self-assessment workshops and other targeted education workshops on topics such as integrated pest mangement, and air and water quality, hosted by CSWA as a part of the California wine community's Sustainable Winegrowing Program.
