Board Adopts Ag Order 4.0

Central Coast Regional Water Board adopts General Waste Discharge Requirements for Discharges from Irrigated Lands | April 16, 2021. At this point, the new order is in full effect, although simplified fact sheets are not available.

The Vineyard Team will submit a proposal to the Regional Board to act as a 3rd party to help streamline requirements for SIP Certified growers and vineyard growers in general. These proposals are due on June 22; most likely it will be several months before the details of these agreements are finalized. We anticipate approved alternative compliance pathways to streamline regulatory reporting for vineyard operators and continue to actively work on this issue on behalf of the vineyard industry.
